Florida Department of Environmental Protection
FDEP's Wetland Evaluation and Delineation Section (WEDS) performs Formal Wetland Delineations, provides training in wetland delineation and classification, and provides technical assistance to ensure the consistent statewide use of the Florida Unified Wetland Delineation Methodology (Chapter 62-340, F.A.C.). Florida Resources and Environmental Analysis Center
The maps available for download from this site were assembled by the Florida Resources and Environmental Analysis Center, Florida State University, using U.S. Fish and Wildlife National Wetlands Inventory data files and U.S. Geological survey UTM Digital Raster Graphics, NAD 27. NWI data were downloaded September 2005. Any changes to wetlands data subsequent to that time are not reflected in these maps.
