Determining the File Name
Use the Quad Name Locator to find the
DEP quad number.
The file names begin with "Q", followed by the DEP quad number, followed by "NW", "NE", "SW", or "SE" to indicate quarter-quad position within the quad.
A "1", "3", or "6" follows to indicate the meter resolution.
Downloading Instructions
FTP
is recommended for large downloads.
These images are available on CD, DVD, or portable hard drive for a fee.
Special Software Needed
GIS software is recommended. Be sure to download the JGW file and place it in the same directory as the JPG.
These can be viewed by standard graphics software (including a web browser) but this software
will not georeference the files.
