About the Data
USGS 7.5-Minute SDTS DEM 30-Meter
A Digital Elevation Model (DEM) is a digital representation of the contours of the Earth's surface.
The information is derived from elevation measurements at regularly spaced intervals.
This data is published by the USGS and covers a 7.5-minute area with 30-meter resolution.

of the quad(s) to download.
Downloading Instructions
From the web browser, left-click on the file name to open the file; right-click to download it to your machine.
If you experience downloading difficulties or need a large number of files, FTP software may be more beneficial
than using a web browser. See FTP Instructions for more information.
Special Software Needed
These files are in STDS format and must be converted to DEM before using.
